This is to inform the servicing work when the DC controller PCB is replaced.
When the DC controller PCB (Refer to P-1 below) mounted on the affected machines below is replaced with
the service part (Refer to P-2 below), do "Servicing work when DC controller PCB is replaced" described in
Service Manual and then do "Registering the basic paper width of the manual feeder".
Be aware if this registration is not done, paper width in the manual feeder will be detected wrongly because the
value of resistance, which controls the paper width detection in the manual feeder on the DC controller PCB, of
the service part is different from that of the PCB mounted on the affected machine.
"Registering the basic paper width of the manual feeder"
Ref) A4R width: 210mm, A6R width: 105mm, A4 width: 297mm
1) Place an A4R size document on the manual feed and align the size guide with the A4R width.
2) Select Service mode, COPIER>FUNCTION>CST.
3) Select "MF-A4R" to highlight, and press "OK". By this operation, a value after automatic adjustment is
registered.
4) Similarly, register basic values of A6R and A4 following 1), 2) and 3).
By this registration, the setting values of MF-A4R, MF-A6R and MF-A4 in Service mode,
COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ, have been changed automatically from default values. After registration,
confirm these values and change the indications of the service labels.

as a lower two-digit number of LOT NO. (No red sticker for

identification)
